Zebra Blends was created by myself - Janna, a 35 year old mother of two. I was diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) at the age of 33 years.
The idea came to me to establish Zebra Blends, as it became evident, in my own search for answers to my health issues, that rare diseases are very commonly under researched, under funded, and in turn under diagnosed.
I want to create a space that sells the everyday items that I have found helpful in my journey that might also help others - a one stop shop for ALL people.
I have pledged to always donate 50% of all profits to the two charities I support. The first one being, Rare Voices Australia, a charity which tirelessly works hard to improve the health outcomes for Australians linving with rare disease. And the second being, Australian Pain Managment Association (APMA), which is championing improvements for Australians living with chronic pain.
Through this initiative I hope to break down the barriers of delayed diagnosis, raise awareness and provide advocacy, whilst simultaneously sharing profits to aid future research and improved clinical care for the hundreds of thousands of Australians living with chronic pain, rare disease or BOTH.
Help ME support rare disease and chronic pain causes by showing support for MY small business.
